Undergraduate Research Assistant

University of Toronto

As an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Toronto, I had the opportunity to contribute to important research projects and gain valuable experience in the field.

One of my main responsibilities was analyzing students' attitudes towards statistics through various research methods, including literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and statistical and graphical analysis using the programming language R. I also attended area seminars and other meetings as necessary, summarized project results, and played a lead role in reviewing and editing data to ensure its completeness and accuracy.

In addition to these tasks, I had the opportunity to supervise student employees in the execution of their work, which gave me valuable experience in team management.

Overall, this role provided me with a wealth of experience in research methodology, data analysis, and team management. It was a great learning opportunity that has prepared me for future studies and career opportunities in the field. My work on this project also helped me to develop strong skills in R and data analysis, which are highly sought after in a variety of industries.
